Natasha Kimling Kwan started kling handbags in 2005 by designing one-of-a-kind handbags made of various materials and fabrics. 500 designs later and extensive research in fabrics, Kling still offers the same mod-urban designs that Natasha is known for, but now the bags are made with an eco-friendly, PVC-free, polyurethane fabric that feels nearly identical to lambskin. The details don't stop at the exterior either. Each bag has a printed fabric interior so items can be found easily and pockets to hold your necessities.

How do I clean my bag?
The exterior can be cleaned with a mild soap and water. Just lightly clean it with a smooth cloth. For tougher stains, you can use a cleaner like 409®. This would be used on stains such as grease and ink.
Do the minis fit inside the clutches?
Yes, the minis were designed to fit inside the standard Kling clutches. You can fit two minis side-by-side.
Your bags are so soft, are you positive they are not leather?
Absolutely. The fabric we use is 100% vegan and we use it because it feels similar to lambskin and softer than the best Italian leathers available and yes, we ve done the comparisons. Our bags do feel better!

What s the big deal with PVC? Aren't all vegan bags the same?
Vegan does not automatically imply that an item is safe. Most leather alternatives are made of PVC / vinyl which is extremely harmful to humans, our environment and animals. Kling's mission is to provide fashionable and safe products. PVC is linked to cancer and birth defects. This is not only harmful to you, but also your pets. PVC doesn t have to be on you to be in you, it releases toxins in the air.

What are the details?
Our bags have much more detail that what you'll find in bags quadruple the cost. Our bags have custom interiors, trimmed pockets and are handmade in small batches in New York City. Functionality is also important; the minis are sized to hold an uncased iPhone and the zipper pocket in the clutches is the width of a tampon.
Will the bags wear through time, like leather?
No, our bags are scratch, nick, fade and blemish resistant so they maintain their new look.
How should I store my bag?
We recommend putting tissue paper in your bags when not in use to maintain their shape.
